Born on March 20 (Sun), 1921, Anami Korehiro was born as the second son of General Anami Korechika. Like his father, Korehiro also entered the army, graduating from the Military Academy (58th class) in June 1945, but the war soon ended and his father committed suicide as the last Minister of Army. He died in 1975 at the age of 54.
